Through clay, I found my voice.
— Nia Fairweather; on the Power of Clay

CERAMICIST

At the age of 14, I was given the assignment to create a mix-medium piece that depicted how I felt after having watched the films Amistad and Schindler’s List.

Of the materials I had access to, clay was the only one I hadn’t worked with. My connection to it was instantaneous. I marveled at how the clay was able to say what I didn’t have the words to express.

Through clay, I found my voice as an Artist and I have been molding stories and experiences ever since.

New Collection Arriving Soon.

Announcements will be shared via VESSEL, my monthly offering of original stories, new works and heart-centered practices that I live by.

And, yes the cup in my hand is one of my pieces :)

With Gratitude & Excitement,

Nia
